What to expect

• Our adoption process entails receipt of your adoption application, checking the references listed on the application, completing a home visit and ultimately scheduling a meet & greet. This process may take anywhere from two to six weeks. Please be patient during this time and understand that these measures are in place to ensure that both you and the dog are the best match for each other.
• We vaccinate, vet check, and spay/neuter (whenever possible) every dog prior to adoption.
• Adoption fees vary depending on age, size and breed; they go directly towards (but by no means covers) the cost of caring for the animal, both medically and otherwise. Fees range from $75-$225 and are determined on a case by case basis.
• Submitting an application does not obligate or guarantee you will receive a dog. An approved application is simply the first step before meeting the dog. At meetings we encourage (but don't require) you to bring all family members including other pets. Some adoptable dogs may require special arrangements.
• If you do choose to adopt the dog at the time of the meeting you will be asked to pay the adoption fee and sign an adoption contract at that time. Pawsitive Endings will provide you with the medical (vaccination/spay/neuter) records that we have and any other pertinent information or paperwork.
